1. Who we are
MG Royal Properties ("we", "us") is a real estate agency for homes and investments in the United Arab Emirates and operates the website mgroyalproperties.com. 2. What data we collect
When you use an enquiry form, your own email app opens with a message to us containing your name, email address, phone number, message and, where relevant, the property reference; the website itself does not store this information. We receive these details once you send the email. When you contact us by phone, email or WhatsApp we receive the details you share with us. When you visit the website our hosting provider processes limited technical data, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver and secure the website. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
3. Why we use your data
We use your details to answer your enquiry, send you the information you ask for (such as floor plans, prices and availability), arrange viewings and support you during a purchase. The legal bases are taking steps at your request before entering into an agreement, our legitimate interest in responding to and following up on enquiries, and, for embedded maps, your consent. We do not sell your data and do not send newsletters unless you ask us to.
4. Who we share data with
We only share data where necessary: with our hosting provider (Vercel Inc.) and our email provider, which process data on our behalf; with Google, only if you consent to loading the embedded map; with WhatsApp (Meta) when you choose to contact us that way; and, only with your agreement, with the seller, developer or government registration bodies involved when you decide to reserve or buy a property.
5. International transfers
Some of our service providers are based outside the European Economic Area, for example in the United States. Where this is the case, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. If you proceed with a purchase in the UAE, the details needed for that transaction are shared with the parties in the UAE involved in it.
6. How long we keep your data
We keep enquiry data for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, after which it is deleted. If you buy a property through us, we keep the records related to that transaction for as long as the law requires.
7. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss and unauthorised access, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access limited to the people who need it.
8. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability and to withdraw your consent at any time. Send your request to info@mgroyalproperties.com and we will respond within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your country of residence; in the Netherlands this is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
9. Cookies
The website only uses storage that is strictly necessary for it to work, such as remembering your cookie choice. Third-party content such as Google Maps is only loaded after you give permission. You can change your choice at any time via "Cookie Settings" at the bottom of every page.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our services or the law change. The latest version is always published on this page, with the date of the last update shown at the top.
